Interarchie

Interarchie is a very useful tool for exploring the Internet. It's origins and main use are for finding and downloading files via FTP and even HTTP (You can download whole Wed sites easily) -- More in this later in the course.

For now we will focus on other uses of interachie related to topics mentioned in this section, namely:

• Routing
• Network Activity
• Debugging Networks - seeing machines are alive on networks and see if people are logged on machines
• Monitoring Network Traffic
• Domain Name Lookup
• Telnet
