Test with TCP sends a TCP echo request to the specified host (on port 7/tcp), and displays "TCP test succeeded" if the expected response is received; if not, the Result field shows an error message, such as "connection refused". A TCP echo daemon is one of Interarchy's Safe Daemons. The Test with TCP window, like Test with UDP & Test with ICMP, has a Save button to record a bookmark file which will repeat the test later.
