Components of a Multimedia System

A Multimedia System comprises of several components:

We have address some issued relating input devices and user-interfaces in relation to specific media types in previous chapters. Other application dependent components (protocols (Internet and others), databases) have been addressed in some contexts and will be developed further in applications addressin later Chapters.

In this Chapter we will concern ourselves with networking and other hardware related issues.
