winGammaTM
Peter Durrant, Steve Margetts, Antonia J. Jones 2000
This software winGammaTM can be downloaded (below) and used free of charge for non-commercial, private research. All rights are retained by the licensee Cardiff University. It runs under all current versions of Windows. The software is straightforward to use, but you should study the manual obtainable from the Gamma archive in this web site which also contains extensive documentation. Download the following zip file and unzip it into a convenient directory, then create a shortcut for the desktop for winGamma.exe.
Known problems.
The only known significant issue is that, owning to the way Windows deals with languages, winGammaTM can only read data files correctly if the default language of the machine is set to English. We apologise that this problem came to light too late in the development cycle to be rectified.
