Existing parallel libraries and toolkits include:

• PUL, the Parallel Utilities Library from EPCC.
• The Multicomputer Toolbox from Tony Skjellum and colleagues at LLNL and MSU.
• The Portable, Extensible, Toolkit for Scientific computation from ANL.
• ScaLAPACK from ORNL and UTK.
