  5. "Parallel Computing: Theory and Practice" by Michael J. Quinn is a good book to read as it covers much of the first part of the course. However, it contains some errors so you should check the first errata sheet and the second errata sheet.
  6. Unfortunately Quinn's book is out of print. However, there are some copies in the Trevithick Library.
