Keith Jarrett

Keith Jarrett was born May 8, 1945 in Allentown, PA. Keith Jarrett is, probably, the most important Jazz figure to have emerged since 1970. He has taken jazz and, in particular, piano improvisation into a whole new dimension. His solo piana concerts and recordings are well worth checking out:
