The preferred method of mail access for new students is via the Department's Macintosh based Mulitmedia Laboratory. This lab contains PowerPC Macintoshes.
In order to read your mail, you should connect the Macintosh to the department's mail server using the MailDrop Internet mail program.
Your Induction Course tutor will tell you how to start MailDrop on the Macintoshes. MailDrop should be configured to connect to the Department's mail server host, sentinel.
