Some Common `document` Methods/Properties

write, writeln

: HTML pages can be created live using JavaScript. This is done by using the write or writeln methods of the document object. E.g.:

document.write("<body>");
document.writeln("<h1>A test</h1>");

writeln causes a newline to be output with the output.

bgcolor, fgcolor

The same properties can be set in the HTML <BODY> tag.
The values can be set from JavaScript.
The methods accept either hexadecimal values or common names for colours:

document.bgcolor = "#e302334";
document.fgcolor = "coral";
```

layers

close()

document isn't completely written until the close() has been called.
If you don't use this method then the browser will keep waiting for more data even if there is none.
