Things to remember when HTML programming

• Make sure < and > match up
• Make sure <tag> and </tag> match up
• Not all browsers display information the same way
  • Explorer/Netscape are most advanced
  • Lynx displays no graphics
• Relative vs. Absolute links
  • If your html document is top.html and you refer to another document in the same directory, you need only specify the file name and not the entire path
