Saving/Downloading Links to Files via Internet Explorer/Netscape Navigator

One useful and easy to use feature of Explorer/Navigator lets you save files of any kind to disk rather than to the browser.

On a Macintosh simply:

A currently loaded Web page can be saved from the save as File menu option. Web pages can be saved as text or html.

On Explorer you may also use the save as option to save complete web sites as archives. Explorer's Download Manager Window informs of the download progress.
