4sqPersonality app released

Partners at Cardiff University have just released a mobile application based on RECOGNITION research. The 4sqPersonality app is a mobile version of the Foursquare Personality Experiment released last year.

The app allows users to view the Foursquare venues near their current location, and to see the average personality profile of all the people who have checked in there. If they are curious enough, they can even sign in with Foursquare themselves, and take their own personality test to see how they compare.

Get it on Google Play

The app is available for Android now on Google Play, and an iOS version should be available very soon.

Workshop on Collective Social Awareness and Relevance (CSAR)

RECOGNITION partners recently held a workshop at Social Computing and its Applications (SCA) 2013, in Karlsruhe, Germany.

The workshop, titled “Collective Social Awareness and Relevance”, or CSAR, presented papers from project partners alongside other relevant work from outside the project. The workshop was well attended, and included plenty of discussion around topics relevant to the RECOGNITION project.
