Partners at Cardiff University have just released a mobile application based on RECOGNITION research. The 4sqPersonality app is a mobile version of the Foursquare Personality Experiment released last year.
The app allows users to view the Foursquare venues near their current location, and to see the average personality profile of all the people who have checked in there. If they are curious enough, they can even sign in with Foursquare themselves, and take their own personality test to see how they compare.
The app is available for Android now on Google Play, and an iOS version should be available very soon.
The RECOGNITION project recently held a very successful public workshop in Florence, Italy, where work from the RECOGNITION project was presented to an audience of domain experts, academics and members of the public.
Hosted by project partners from UNIFI, the day included invited talks from distinguished speakers, talks from many of the project partners, and in the afternoon hosted a lively discussion around the challenges and insights surrounding the workshop topic.
After a server error a few weeks ago we are finally back online! Unfortunately a number of blog posts from the first two years of the project have been lost, but we hope to possibly restore these soon.
Over the next few weeks we’ll start restoring more of the project description and content to the website so stay tuned!
