WHO ARE WE?

Newport Outdoor Group (YHA) is special interest group affiliated to the Youth Hostels Association (England & Wales). We are primarily an outdoor walking group, but organise plenty of other activities for the outdoor enthusiast.

The Group organises Monday evening and weekend events. To view our current programme in Portable Document Format (PDF) you will need use Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you do not have this reader installed on your computer, it is freely available from the web site at http://www.adobe.co.uk/products/acrobat/readermain.html . A link for this is posted on our Home Page. With Acrobat Reader installed, you can view our programme in pdf format by clicking our programme..

In addition, we also organise 2 long distance walks in the Brecon Beacons National Park area. These are the shorter Talybont Trial, and the longer, more strenuous Black Mountains Roundabout.
