Born 13th June 1934, Leonard Kleinrock is a Professor of Computer Science at the University of California, Los Angeles. Accredited for establishing the mathematical theory of packet networks, he has won a variety of awards for his work. One of the most prestigious being the 'National Medal of Science,' which he was selected to receive from President George W Bush in 2008.
